This season, a selection of 18 christmas trees of questionable grace made it into the vote. While the extreme examples are still scarse, it seems like the general spread of tasteless christmas decoration is on the rise.

Getrieben von Arbeit und nicht vom Kaufrausch ist die Auswahl an Weihnachtsbäumen dieses Jahr ein wenig kleiner ausgefallen. Aber eindeutig habe ich einen Trend zu Wichteln und zur Farbe Pink ausmachen können.

As my workload prevented me from a shopping therapy, I need to go with a smaller range of ugly christmas trees to choose from this season. But I could definitely detect a trend towards dwarfst on the one hand and pink colours on the other hand.

Seit 2020 habe ich mit den Weihnachtsbäumen ausgesetzt. Aber wohl ich dieses Jahr nicht viel unterwegs war vor Weihnachten, waren doch so extraordin´äre Exemplare zu sehen, dass ich sie nicht für mich behalten mag.

From 2020 on, I skipped the christmas trees. But although I not come around a lot during the season, there were a hand full of trees to be seen that were rather on the extraordinary side of things. At least so much as I would not dare to keep them for me alone.
