Dieses Jahr haben es 18 Weihnachtsbäume in die Auswahl geschafft. Auch wenn die wirklich krassen Kandidaten rar geworden sind, hat die generelle Verbreitung von hässlichen Weihnachtsbäumen dennoch zugenommen.

This season, a selection of 18 christmas trees of questionable grace made it into the vote. While the extreme examples are still scarse, it seems like the general spread of tasteless christmas decoration is on the rise.

Wie jedes Jahr ist es Weihnachten – aber dieses Jahr ganz anders als sonst.
Wo geht der Trend in Sachen Weihnachtsbaum dieses Jahr hin? Ich kann es nicht sagen. Denn ich habe meinen Anteil an der Pandemiebekämpfung beigetragen und war nicht viel unterwegs: Kein Einkaufszentrum, nicht in der Innenstadt großer Städte und auch nicht im Ausland. Demensprechend gering ist in diesem Jahr die Auswahl. Danke daher an Christopher, dass er mir einen wunderbaren Baum mit in die Auswahl geschickt hat!
Man könnte auch sagen: Dieses Jahr geht der Trend eindeutig zum Weihnachtsbaum zu Hause!
The same procedure as every year – at the end it is christmas time. But this time it is somehow different than we are used to.
If you would ask me for this years trend in tree fashion? I could not tell you. Simply, because I followed what makes sense and did not vivit any malls, big cities nor did I travel abroad. So the selection of trees is rather small this year. So I am sending big thanks to Christopher who sent me an extraordinary tree to join into the race.
In some way, you could say there is a trend: Admiring the tree you have in your home!
